Mirror, mirror, on the wall: Warm up a room with mirrors. When hanging mirrors, think carefully about what they’ll will reflect. Maybe you would like to pick up a great scene, like the TV in this picture.  Create space with the right mirror placement. To create the illusion of more space, mount a mirror opposite a window to bounce light. The use of mirrors can give the illusion of more space and increase light in darker areas.

N is for natural Light

When designing your lighting plan, first think about how much natural light you have. Take into consideration any focal points that you want to pick out such as art works or dining tables, then combine a mixture of floor lampstable lamps and candles to create a flexible and inviting lighting plan. Maximize whatever natural light you have in a space by hanging your curtains high and wide so that they can be pulled back to let the light shine in.
